Types of rock and rock cycle

It is a naturally occurring solid aggregate of minerals and mineraloids.

There are three types of rocks:

 -Metamorphic —- Some examples of these are: slate, quartzite, travertine marble, marble…

-Sedimentary —- Other types of rocks are these: limestone, sandstone, conglomerate, chert…

-Igneous —- Also we have rocks from volcanoes: granite, basalt, andesite…

They are clasificated by chemical and mineral composition, by the texture and by the processes that once formed them. There are many groups into each rock and they transform one type to other by the geological model, the rock cycle.
